Step 1 :
- The Body of a Dinosaur in a Drawing
- Draw a line from left to right, curving downward, beginning at the back of the neck and extending to the beginning of the tail to start drawing your dinosaur. To make the tail’s tip, bend the line that was left out into a point. Make a single, broad downward curve from right to left, beginning at the end of the tail, for the dinosaur’s belly, and ascend to the beginning of its neck. Draw a line upward and to the left, depending on the length of the neck you want your dinosaur to have.
- Draw a line that curves to the left to represent the dinosaur’s underside of the chin, and then draw a line that curves to the right to express the dinosaur’s mouth and nose. Then, create a broader, nearly half-circular curve to the right, representing the back of the dinosaur’s head. The head’s connection to the top of the rear of the neck should then be indicated by a slight curvature to the right.
- Draw the top of the head with a further curve to the right, linking it to the starting point with a straight line parallel to the line you created for the front of the neck.
Step 2:
- Choose two locations along the dinosaur’s belly, then begin by sketching two half-circle arcs at whatever intervals you like. Draw a line down and slightly to the left, starting at the left end of one of the half circles. Next, draw a downward line to the right, starting at the right end of the half-circle. Join the two lines you created for the dinosaur’s legs at the bottom, which will serve as its feet.
- We’ll now sketch the front right leg. Draw a line parallel to the second front leg coming down from the body, and then draw another line turning 90 degrees to the right and joining the front of the other front leg. To make sure the line doesn’t pass through the legs you created, remove the body line from in between the lines of the legs. This will provide the impression that the legs are connected to the body’s exterior.
Step 3:
- Draw three tiny, interconnected half-circles along the top of the flat foot line to represent your dinosaur’s toes. Only the front-right toes will be visible on the feet on the distant side. The identical half-circles will be drawn for this, but you will stop once you reach the line for the front-left foot. Since they won’t be seen, the back right leg’s toes won’t need to be drawn.
Step 4:
- Choose the features you want to give your dinosaur to make it uniquely yours by adding them! Draw ovals of various sizes and shapes across the top back of your dinosaur as one possible decoration idea. You might also add stripes on the rear of your relic. They might be stripes of the same color or a different hue, thick or thin. If you’re feeling particularly daring, create broad lines and fill them in with various shapes and colors. This is your chance to be creative, so give your dinosaur’s traits whatever you like!
Step 5:
- Give your dinosaur its eyes at this point. You only need to sketch one vision as we stare at the dinosaur’s side. Draw a circle in the front of the upper half of the head to represent the creature’s eye. We’ll create a second circle within the eye to represent the pupil to give the creature’s look a more adorable and realistic appearance. Reduce the process somewhat and put it on the circle’s left side.
Step 6:
- To give your dinosaur a nose, we need to add a small circle to the muscle you’ve previously shown, the minor arc on the left side of the head. There is no need to complete this circle. Since only one side of the dinosaur is visible, drawing the nose requires one process, like the eye.
Step 7:
- We’ll add a mouth to your dinosaur’s outline to complete it. Start a line inside the dinosaur’s head near its chin, just below the nose, and continue it down to draw the mouth. Draw a line that rises to the right, is slightly curved, comes to a stop, and then curves back down at a 10-degree angle to the head’s connecting line.
Step 8:
- Add any finishing touches you desire to make your dinosaur creation your own. To make it more realistic, color it or add texture. Does the name of your dinosaur exist? Publish it on the page! This is the perfect opportunity to add any information!
